Prepare real examples. The interview with Zara is conversational and role-specific. Expect open-ended technical and scenario questions; some technical roles can include coding.

Build verified skills over time. Passing certification makes your profile eligible to be considered for relevant projects, but it does not guarantee immediate placement.

Use a complete CV and profile. Apply to roles that genuinely fit your background. Application steps sync across Mercor applications and completed steps do not expire.

Practise first. Mercor’s separate practice interview is useful for preparing, but it is not unlimited. You have up to three attempts for each interview.

You can improve an official interview. Each official interview also allows up to three attempts for that specific interview. Your latest result updates the related applications, although a reviewer may already have seen an earlier version.
